TSCSM Grand plan ends after 7" single
The supergroup known as The Soul Clan was to be the start of an autonomous African-American business empire. The reality was that one of the intended founders died in a plane crash, one allegedly became uncomfortable with the grandiose vision of his proposed colleagues, and two new members were drafted into the group before a 7" double-sided 45rpm 'single' was issued from the only two tracks that the group ever recorded; even that was only achieved without them all being in a recording studio at the same time. If you see an LP album, only two of the tracks are 'genuine', the compliation was made with individual contributions from group members.
Even some of the greatest ideas never make it out alive.
